Webinar: Reading is for everyone! Creating inclusive reading experiences in a diverse society
We warmly invite you to join us for a morning coffee session on Zoom on Friday 25 November at 9:30-11:00 (EET) to discuss inclusive reading experiences. The discussion will be held in English.
In an increasingly multicultural and multilingual society, what type of actions are needed to maintain and strengthen one’s home language and literacy from the perspective of kindergartens, libraries, and multicultural families and communities?
We will share the results from the Finnish Reading Center’s Multilingual Literacy Project, followed by a presentation of Goethe-Institut Finnland’s DRIN project as one of the ways in which the need for diversity in children’s literature is being addressed.
The event is organised by the DRIN project at Goethe-Institut Finnland in cooperation with the Finnish Reading Center (Lukukeskus).
